This year’s talk is from the 3rd of autumn at the annual College Assembly in Montreal, providing a taste of what’s to come in 2018. Participants will be training people from some of the classes we’ve gone past, plus faculty and staff members — from a variety of aspects. What implications do each have for how the course and the academic model impact student learning? My own field trips to some of the workshop sites around the world are quite far. They’re available now on Skype to the wider community as well as friends of the workshop coordinators. I always have a handful of pairs I do with two young fellows — one girl from Ottawa and one man. I don’t really see how challenging that is as the students play with other students around us, and I’m very happy to have one of them reach out, too. And lastly, I couldn’t find the event calendar available in the library. So what will you expect? By day, a digital translation student learns the techniques used to translate this information into print. The coursework on which I am calling “The Anthropology of the Anthropometry” has taken a long time to complete. I have come up with one of my best and most profound ideas. It was launched on 9 June 2013 to teach second year undergrad students in anthropology in the U.S. and English-speaking countries in Latin America using a blended video review approach and a short list of content-related instructions. This is a very valuable academic tool that applies to anthropology. It also helps students help with a broader understanding of geography/archaeology with over 60 original materials on that topic.
