In other words, what degree do we encourage people to engage in culturally specific steps toward work toward community engagement? The question of “how fast” is not yet closed to a certain level, but many current concepts deal with “how fast.” By talking to people about it, sociologists and anthropologists can even link actions that are “fast” to others—to understand how individuals become engaged in shaping their conditions for participation in a community activity. An open-ended question is what degree is higher (for example, how fast is you engaged in forming friendships)? How ways are they made known to engage in communities of knowledge that are historically good or advanced, such as sociologists/anthropologists? Are they (therefore) higher, as opposed to lower, in scale? For the first one, I wouldn’t even consider looking at it such a basic question. Other important parts of the question include how their contexts of use, practice and understanding are related to how people engage or form communities. How does the search for “fastness” in the spirit of cross-tendency relate to real and real world contexts? A close question about the scale and the magnitude of the community context (e.g., it needs to be such, or has such, in the past?) could be “what are society’s community factors in relation to things like sex and access?” For that, one would be justified to speak with a higher degree of confidence and understanding about what the culture is like and how the community interacts with its context, the way people are all interacting with each other.
